Cadbury’s in the UK have developed a unique new range of chocolates perfect for countries with warm weather such as India and Brazil. These chocolates that can withstand up to 40 deg celcius weather without melting. Regular chocolates melt even in warm temperature ranging 30 to 34 degrees celcius. However these bars remain solid and don’t quite melt easily in the mouth the way the others do.
The secret lies in the way they are made with metal beads that grind the cocoa butter, vegetable oils, milk and sugar particles into smaller pieces with reduced fat coating to make them more heat resistant. The method is called conching, Cadbury scientists have reportedly said. They have been specially designed to be temperature tolerant in countries with sharply fluctuating temperature. Whether they would taste as good as the regular, softer bars is a matter of debate.
