Who would have thought that a refreshing glass of lemonade could not only quench your thirst but also help you quit smoking!
With the overwhelming stress at work, many have turned to smoking to alleviate their stress. What starts with a couple of puffs, grows on to become 1 cigarette a day and gradually, without being aware, one cannot control his urge for a cigarette. Despite being aware of the side effects of smoking, quitting is never easy.
In a new study, scientists have found that the interaction of sugar (known as glucose) with the tongue boosts attention as well as energy and can improve self control. This could help keep smokers away from the cigarettes at least in the short-term, the Daily Mail reported.
