The lady may have left the big screen for a while to enjoy the bliss of motherhood but continues to charm. Recently in Kerala, thousands of people jostled each other to catch a glimpse of their favourite star when she flew in to inaugurate a jewellery store.
The store, Kalyan Jewellers that opened its doors in Kochi appointed Aishwarya Rai as its brand ambassador. The owners, the Kalyanaram family, said that the online commercial starring Aishwarya was a raging hit that created a new record with over 2 lakh hits in just 4 days. It has also been critically acclaimed by top agencies as one of the best ads this year.
The admiration between the lady and the state of Kerala seemed mutual. Ash stole the limelight on stage as she addressed the huge crowd of fans before her and called Kerala “God’s own country”. She was assisted by Malyalam superstar Dileep on the occasion.
